Star Trek OnlineP2 Entertainment - formerly Perpetual Entertainment - has ceased development on Star Trek Online, according to multiple sources at the San Francisco based developer.

Perpetual Entertainment announced today that StarTrek-Online.net (STOnet) has become the first community site accepted into the Star Trek Online (STO) "Federation of Fansites" community program.

Perpetual Entertainment is running a full page ad in Game Developer Magazine this month. The ad, which is aimed at recruiting fresh new talent to join the STO team, features a previously unreleased concept image showing Starfleet Academy, located in Horseshoe Bay, just north of San Francisco.

The crew over at Hailing Frequency, a podcast focused on Star Trek gaming, has posted Episode 34, which features an extensive interview with Ryan Dening, the Lead Concept Artist for Star Trek Online.

The Crew from StarTrek-Online.net launched their very own podcast series called STOcast, where they will discuss all the happenings in and around the Star Trek Online Universe.
